Welcome to My Blog

What is there to tell about your life?

I’ll tell you what there is to tell about mine; everything. Please don’t panic and click the back arrow. My intent is not to share every boring or gory detail. Rather, I long to reveal both the mundane and miraculous aspects of my life in which God shows up and reminds me that He is my everything. And, everything He does is worth telling.

Please browse around and join the conversation. I’m excited we can begin this storytelling journey together. I hope you are too.

Have a cup of coffee, or tea, on me!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I extend a special welcome to my friends from the Dallas Christian Writer’s Guild and The Writer’s View 2 (TWV2.)

I find joy and comfort in the company of writers. As I travel the journey to publication I also take pleasure in meeting the people who help writers along the way. I especially appreciate the encouragement of agents, editors and other industry experts.

Blogging helps connect this community but it certainly doesn’t replace getting to know someone face-to-face. Although I’d love to get to know each of you better over a cup of coffee or tea, I realize this is not a practical reality. So, I would like to offer you the opportunity enjoy a beverage with friends, family or someone you might like to get to know better.

If you post a comment on my blog this month you will be entered into a contest to win a $10 Starbucks gift card. If you sign-up for my blog feed you double your chances of winning. Sorry to all my Canadian friends who might have their hearts set on a gift card to Tim Horton’s but a Tim’s is a rare sighting in these here parts.

If you like, please share why groups like the Dallas Christian Writer’s Guild or TWV2 are important to you. In my case, both have provided extraordinary opportunities to grow as a writer and find people dedicated to words and the word of god.

Have a blessed day,
Kristin

Your blog and website are beautiful. George and Ashley are very gifted, aren't they? I found them through Mary DeMuth and am so glad I did. So, for what I like about TWV2 and others in the writing community is just that--finding great folks to help us in areas where we are challenged. God bless you, and please enter me in your coffee contest--right up my alley. Blessings.

Thanks for dropping by Carla. Mary introduced me to George and Ashley as well and I too am glad she did.

You are the first entry into the coffee contest so maybe that will bring you good luck!

I look forward to keeping in touch,

Kristin

Kristin, I came over from TWV2. Thanks so much for being willing to serve as a panelist. The group has mentored me in so many ways, and what a blessing it has been to get to know other writers. And yes, please enter me in the giveaway :)

Thank you Cheryl and Elizabeth, I appreciate your warm and welcoming comments.

I look forward to our dialogue on TWV2.

It would be nice if we could actually talk over a cup of coffee one day but until then, you'll have to wait and see if you win the gift card.

Blessings to you both,

Kristin

Kristin,

Thanks for the invitation to visit your website and blog. Very inviting. TWV2 allows me to garner great information and get feedback on my own opinions about writing. It also introduces me to some terrific people who love to write. I hope I get the chance to meet all of them at some point.

Enter me for the cup of jo, please. How do I sign up for the feed?

BTW Thanks for dropping by my blog, too.

I stopped by via another's blog. I also am a member of TWV2. It has helped me with finding a possible outlet for my writing. I also found out about a writing conference an hour away from where I live. A new member told me about it. I am acquainted with him from where I used to work. I find the questions stimulating. A quiet spirit-following my king is the name of my blog.
